Very heavy rain warning for Coastal Andhra; Rayalaseema on alert

IMD’s October 22 bulletin lists very heavy rain for Coastal Andhra Pradesh and heavy rain for Rayalaseema, alongside thunderstorms, lightning and strong surface winds. Heavy-rain warnings continue for both subdivisions on October 23. These are forecast warnings, not reports of rainfall already received; the subdivision labels do not mean every district will experience the same conditions.
