Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty reopened Egypt’s historic embassy building in Tripoli on 7 November, with Libya’s acting foreign minister, Taher al-Baour, attending the ceremony. Egypt’s State Information Service said Abdelatty thanked Libyan authorities for helping restore the building.
The ministers also held bilateral talks in Tripoli on the sidelines of a meeting of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States. They discussed regional security and ways to expand cooperation between the two countries, the Libyan News Agency reported. [evidence-1] [evidence-2]
