CCI clears Sapphire subscription to Gentari securities

India’s competition regulator has cleared Sapphire US HoldCo’s proposed subscription to certain securities of Gentari Renewables India. The CCI announced its approval on November 4 at 7:05 pm IST. Gentari is indirectly wholly owned by PETRONAS and works in renewable power generation and battery storage in India. The release does not give a transaction value or confirm completion.
