Microsoft announced a Voluntary Exit Offer on October 26 for eligible employees in participating teams in India, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The programme covers internal level 70 and below.
Employees choosing to leave can receive financial assistance and career-planning support. Participation varies by organisation; the offer does not cover every team.
Chief People Officer Amy Coleman said it builds on the earlier Voluntary Retirement Program. The new announcement does not disclose payment amounts, a closing date or how many employees will accept.
