Shilp Samagam Mela 2026 begins in Guwahati

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment said Shilp Samagam Mela 2026 has begun at the Khanapara Farm Gate in Guwahati and will run until 28 October. The fair is open daily from 11am to 9pm, according to a ministry official.

The ministry said 75 artisans, including 31 women, are displaying about 40 varieties of handloom and handicraft products. It said the event is intended to provide participating artisans opportunities to display and directly sell products, connect with buyers and expand market access.
