Dehradun gets new STPI incubation space for technology startups

Software Technology Parks of India has inaugurated a new incubation facility at IT Park on Sahastradhara Road in Dehradun, according to a PIB release issued on October 23. The facility is intended to support technology startups and IT/IT-enabled-services companies in Uttarakhand.

The centre spans approximately 30,000 square feet over four floors. The announced infrastructure includes semi-furnished offices, high-speed internet, an auditorium, meeting and conference rooms, and a Network Operations Centre.

Officials describe the facility as a platform for collaboration, product development and entrepreneurship. Those are its intended benefits; the inauguration announcement does not establish how many new jobs or investments the centre has already generated.
