Defence Department says over 2.46 lakh files reviewed under Special Campaign 6

The Defence Ministry’s Department of Military Affairs said Special Campaign 6 is being implemented from 2 October to 31 October 2026, focusing on cleanliness, space management, scrap disposal, record review and workplace improvement.

In the first two weeks, the department said it reviewed more than 24.6 lakh files, held cleanliness drives at 3,553 sites and reviewed and simplified 158 rules. It also said scrap disposal generated revenue of Rs 50.60 lakh. These are official claims reported by the ministry.
