PM’s Vijayadashami address in Delhi stresses Ram’s ideals and national unity

In an official address at a Vijayadashami programme in Delhi on 20 October 2026, the Prime Minister extended festival greetings and referred to Ram’s ideals of truth, duty, compassion and public welfare. He said Ramrajya represented governance without discrimination, with justice and equal opportunity.

The Prime Minister also called for unity around national interest and said people should identify and defeat forces he described as harming the country’s honour, dividing society or hating its culture. These were assertions made in the address.
