The Cotton Corporation of India's Guntur branch identified 511 electronic-waste items for disposal through an e-auction on the Government e-Marketplace, according to a Textiles Ministry report issued on October 23. The report says bid opening was scheduled for October 22; it does not disclose the auction's outcome or confirm that the items were sold.
That distinction matters because the official update was published after the scheduled bid-opening date. It is a report of the branch's disposal initiative, rather than a fresh invitation to bid or evidence that recycling has been completed.
The Guntur-specific figure is 511 e-waste items identified for auction. Separately, the ministry cites corporation-wide progress reported up to October 21 under Special Campaign 6: 1,076 scrap items disposed of, ₹3,45,707 generated from scrap disposal and 200 square feet of office space released. Those totals cannot be assigned to the Guntur e-auction.
The ministry describes the wider campaign as covering cleanliness, record management, waste handling and use of office space across CCI's headquarters and branches.
The available release establishes the local identification and planned auction route. A later auction record would be needed to establish successful bids, sale value or final disposal of the Guntur items. No such outcome is inferred from the earlier schedule.
