Navodaya induction training starts for over 400 income-tax office superintendents

NADT's Mumbai regional campus launched Navodaya-2026 on October 26 for newly recruited Income Tax Department office superintendents. More than 400 trainees are participating across Mumbai, Pune and Thane, according to the Finance Ministry.

The programme comprises 30 training days and 180 sessions combining classroom teaching, iGOT Karmayogi modules, webcasting and on-the-job learning. The campus has responsibility for training 1,438 recruits across the Mumbai and Pune regions; that wider responsibility is not the attendance of this initial batch.

The department reports around 6,626 directly recruited superintendents have joined nationally in 2026–27. Those are already appointed personnel, not vacancies open for application. The announcement gives no new recruitment deadline, examination or eligibility notice.
