NIT Raipur and INAE open two-day MEET engineering conclave

NIT Raipur and the Indian National Academy of Engineering opened the two-day INAE Youth Conclave and MEET 2026 conference on October 26. It focuses on multidisciplinary engineering and emerging technologies, according to an Education Ministry release.

Organisers reported approximately 270 registered participants representing 180 teams. The four main components are a hackathon, project ideas and development, thesis presentations and multidisciplinary research papers. Registration figures are not counts of completed projects, winners or commercial launches.

Speakers discussed practical engineering, research collaboration and AI across disciplines. Chhattisgarh Finance Minister O. P. Choudhary attended the opening. The release describes a forum for developing ideas, without announcing independently validated breakthroughs, funding awards or jobs for participants.
