PIB Thiruvananthapuram and UNICEF are organising a one-day workshop for media professionals on inclusive early-childhood development on October 27. The event is scheduled at Hotel Taj Vivanta in Thiruvananthapuram, with registration beginning around 11.30 am, according to PIB's October 26 announcement.
The planned sessions cover early-childhood development, parenting children with developmental disabilities, inclusive health systems and responsible reporting. Speakers are scheduled from UNICEF, the city's Child Development Centre, Kerala's National Health Mission and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. The programme also includes a session on using AI for storytelling. These are announced sessions, rather than findings or recommendations already issued by the workshop.
The valedictory session is scheduled for 3.40 pm, followed by experience-sharing involving parents and caregivers. KROV is reporting the programme without identifying children or reproducing private family experiences.
Organisers say the workshop aims to improve awareness of early identification of developmental difficulties and appropriate support for children and families. The announcement concerns a professional media event; it does not offer a public diagnostic camp or establish clinical results.
