NIT Raipur inaugurated a week-long faculty development programme on advanced mathematical modelling and computational methods on October 26, according to the Ministry of Education’s PIB release. The programme focuses on applications in science and engineering.
The institute’s Mathematics Department is organising the in-person programme with the E&ICT Academy of IIT Guwahati. It is intended to help faculty explore mathematical techniques, computational methods and their use in teaching and interdisciplinary research. These are programme objectives, rather than demonstrated research outcomes.
The announcement reports the opening of the training programme. It does not provide a fresh application window, course fees or public registration instructions.
