Steel Ministry to hold open house on import-related issues on October 28

The Ministry of Steel said it will hold an open house on steel-import-related issues on October 28, 2026, at the Steel Room, third floor, GPOA-3, Netaji Nagar, New Delhi. The session is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Companies and organisations may seek a time slot by email to raise relevant issues, the ministry said. It added that walk-ins will not be allowed and only one representative from each organisation may attend. Requests related to SIMS/SARAL SIMS/QCO exemption issues should be sent by noon on October 26, 2026, according to the release.
