Nagpur NDRF Academy commissions 500 kW solar plant

The NDRF Academy in Nagpur brought a 500 kW solar power plant into operation at its Suradevi campus on October 22, according to a PIB release issued on October 23. The project was completed under a Solar Energy Corporation of India initiative.

The academy expects the installation to supply part of its electricity needs from renewable energy and reduce dependence on conventional grid power. The announcement does not quantify actual electricity generation, annual savings or emissions reductions, so those outcomes remain unreported.
