The Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry will organise Shilp Samagam Mela at Dilli Haat, INA, New Delhi, from November 1 to 15, 2026. The October 27 announcement outlines artisan stalls, demonstrations and cultural programmes; the fair has not yet opened.
The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities plan to organise Shilp Utsav jointly for the first time, with approximately 150 stalls under Bharat TULIP and Purple Fest, a ministry official said. The planned collaboration combines traditional craftsmanship with participation by persons with disabilities.
Seven themed zones will cover live craft demonstrations, lamps and lighting, devotional products, home décor, textiles and fashion, food, and cultural performances. The ministry describes Bharat TULIP as an initiative to market products made by aspirational groups, including through e-commerce. Purple Fest focuses on disability, creativity and equal participation.
The release confirms the planned dates and venue but does not state opening hours, admission charges or an exhibitor list. Those details should come from a subsequent official notice. The planned stall count is approximate, and the announcement does not report sales or attendance for the forthcoming fair.
