Patan university post office reopens with student-focused N-Gen services

The renovated post office at Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University in Patan was inaugurated on October 23 as Gujarat’s seventh N-Gen themed post office and the first in Patan, according to PIB Ahmedabad. The campus facility is intended to make postal services more accessible to students, faculty and university residents.

Officials announced Wi-Fi, a cafeteria, a mini library, comfortable seating and UPI-based payments alongside postal services. The release also lists international parcel booking, postal savings, Aadhaar services and India Post Payments Bank services, with indoor games provided for students.

The Postmaster General announced a 10% student discount on Speed Post and parcel services. The release does not specify the documents, exclusions or other conditions for claiming it; students should confirm those details with the post office before booking.
