India-Russia naval exercise Indra 2026 concludes

The bilateral India-Russia naval exercise Indra 2026 has concluded, according to a Defence Ministry release. Indian Navy ship Sahyadri departed Vladivostok, Russia, on October 20, 2026.

The exercise included harbour and sea phases. The sea phase involved coordinated drills, integrated communications, helicopter operations and medical-evacuation exercises, the release said. The ministry said the activities were intended to improve operational coordination and interoperability.
