Kanpur prepares for November drive to hear pending industrial-dispute cases

Labour officials in Kanpur held an orientation on October 23 ahead of a proposed special campaign to speed up pending cases before the Central Government Industrial Tribunal. The campaign is scheduled for November 16–27, 2026, according to PIB Lucknow.

Employers, authorised representatives and legal counsel were urged to attend with relevant records, case documents and necessary instructions. Officials emphasised preparation, timely appearance and cooperation to help identified cases proceed without unnecessary adjournments.

The announcement sets out preparations for the coming campaign. It does not report completed disposal of cases or publish a case-wise hearing list.
