ICAR-CIRCOT signs glove technology-transfer MoU

ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai, signed an MoU with M/s Trust A.R.A.S Rubber Private Limited, Chengalpattu, on 22 October 2026 to transfer technology for protective gloves for cotton-picking workers, according to a PIB release. The institute said the gloves are designed to protect hands from injuries caused by cotton bracts and are reusable. PIB said the transfer is expected to support commercialisation and wider availability; these are official expectations, not independently verified outcomes.
