Hyderabad plans more animal-care facilities for stray-dog services

Hyderabad civic bodies plan to expand facilities for stray-dog sterilisation and vaccination. GHMC proposes centres at Katedan and Shamshabad. Separately, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation plans to revive the inactive Nizampet facility.

The Katedan centre is under construction, while expansion is also planned at Mahadevpur. These are infrastructure proposals and works in progress. The available reporting does not establish that the additional centres have opened or that the proposed capacity is already available.
