Naidu urges smarter policing and respectful treatment of complainants

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called for greater use of CCTV, data analysis, drones and artificial intelligence to strengthen policing during the October 21 Police Commemoration Day programme in Mangalagiri. He also urged officers to hear complaints with empathy and protect women. His remarks set out priorities for police work; they do not by themselves establish that new systems have been deployed or crime has fallen.
