Telangana reports ₹755.14 crore liquor sales across four festive trading days

Figures attributed to Telangana excise officials put liquor sales at ₹755.14 crore across October 14, 16, 17 and 19 during the Dasara period. The largest reported daily figure was ₹303.40 crore on October 19.

The four dates are separate trading days, not four consecutive calendar days. The aggregate is reported sales value; it should not be described as the government’s net tax receipts or profit.
