Reports describe Karimun’s switch to TDP in Chilakaluripet

Reports from more than one Telugu outlet say Shaik Karimun moved from YSRCP to TDP in Chilakaluripet and announced support for the alliance’s local candidate. The reports describe a party change during the municipal-election campaign. A party switch and a declaration of support do not, by themselves, establish withdrawal of a nomination or an official election result.
