Defence Minister Rajnath Singh spent Diwali with soldiers of the Trishakti Corps at Sherathang in Sikkim on November 8. The Ministry of Defence said Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth and senior Army officers accompanied him.
Singh paid tribute at the Sherathang War Memorial and visited the Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial. In his address to troops, he urged them to maintain trust with people living in and around Sherathang.
