Modi spends Diwali with security personnel at Bastar base

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the CoBRA operations base at Karanpur in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district on November 8 to spend Diwali with security personnel. The Prime Minister’s Office said he addressed personnel at the base, which it described as a training and launch site for operations in Bastar and Abujhmad.

Modi thanked the personnel for their service. In the address, he referred to earlier Diwali visits with troops in Kargil, Lepcha and Sir Creek, and aboard INS Vikrant.
