Railways reviews bridge works at Tumakuru level crossings

The Railways reviewed bridge construction at several level crossings in Karnataka’s Tumakuru district on November 6. The projects inspected included a road overbridge at Gubbi station yard with an estimated cost of ₹19.34 crore, the ministry said.

Officials also reviewed overbridges at the Nittur–Mysuru and Nandihalli gates, and underbridges at Kallipalya and Bilipalya. These works were under construction at the time of the review. The Railways expects the replacements to let road traffic pass without waiting for trains at the crossings.
