The Competition Commission of India has approved Adani Energy Solutions Limited's proposed acquisition of IntelliSmart Infrastructure Private Limited, an October 31, 2026 release says. The proposal covers 100% of IntelliSmart's equity share capital, to be acquired from the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund and Energy Efficiency Services Limited.
CCI describes the acquirer as an Adani Group company active in electricity transmission, distribution and advanced metering infrastructure. IntelliSmart is involved in advanced electricity metering infrastructure and deployment of certain smart gas meters in India.
The notice reports regulatory approval, rather than completion of the purchase. It supplies no transaction value or closing date, and does not establish installation of new meters or a change in consumer electricity tariffs.
