Raipur research institute distributes mustard seed to five villages

ICAR’s National Institute of Biotic Stress Management in Raipur trained about 157 farmers on mustard cultivation on November 4 and distributed DRMR 150-35 seed. The Agriculture Ministry said the seed was intended for cultivation across about 200 acres.

Field training

The farmers came from Baronda, Adsena, Ganiyari, Asonda and Mohdi. Training covered field preparation after paddy harvest, seed rates, plant spacing and nutrient management. The acreage is the intended area for sowing, and the release gives no harvest or income results.
