The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has recognised Hyderabad’s National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) as a Centre of Excellence for skills in agriculture. The institute received its certificate in New Delhi on November 2. The recognition is valid for three years, the Agriculture Ministry said on November 4.
MANAGE already provides training, research and policy support for agricultural extension. Its existing courses include postgraduate diplomas in agricultural extension management and agri-warehousing management. The recognition gives the institute scope to expand its skills work. The announcement gave no new application dates.
