Livasa Hospitals has announced its entry into Haryana by adding a multi-specialty hospital in Karnal to its network. In an October 28 release distributed by NewsVoir, the company described the facility as an existing hospital with more than 200 beds, including 60 critical-care beds.
The announcement concerns the addition of a hospital to the network. It does not establish that every bed represents newly created capacity, and it gives no transaction value or ownership terms.
Livasa said the Karnal facility has 45 intensive-care beds and 15 coronary-care beds, along with a catheterisation laboratory, MRI, CT scanning, dialysis facilities and round-the-clock emergency and critical care. It described the hospital as NABH-accredited; these facility and accreditation claims come from the company release.
The group said clinicians at Karnal would work with specialists across its network. It identified cardiac care, neurosciences, orthopaedics, renal care, oncology and other specialties among the services it aims to strengthen for Karnal and neighbouring districts. The release provides no independently measured change in patient outcomes, waiting times or treatment charges.
Backed by India Resurgence Fund, Livasa said its network operates in Mohali, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr and Khanna. It also reported a 368-bed hospital under development in Ludhiana.
The company put its potential network capacity, including Karnal, at 1,650 beds. That figure is described as potential capacity and should not be read as a verified count of beds currently available for admission. The Ludhiana project remains under development.
