Andhra Pradesh is among 13 states and union territories listed to participate in the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo, scheduled for November 2–5 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy announced the programme on October 28 and said the Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate it on November 2.
Participation will give states a platform to present renewable-energy potential, investment opportunities and manufacturing capabilities. The announcement does not identify a new Andhra Pradesh project, signed investment agreement or funds already received by the state.
The ministry expects participants from more than 130 countries and an exhibition featuring over 400 manufacturers, developers, technology providers and other organisations. Those are advance expectations, rather than verified attendance figures.
Planned sessions cover financing, policy, manufacturing, energy storage, technology and skills. The summit will be held alongside the ninth International Solar Alliance Assembly and the fourth International Conference on Green Hydrogen.
Business and government meetings are planned to explore partnerships and project development. Hackathon awards, a renewable-energy quiz final and a youth-focused REGen Pavilion are also part of the announced programme.
For Andhra Pradesh, the development is a scheduled opportunity to present proposals. Any later report of investment secured or capacity commissioned will require separate evidence; the advance notice does not establish either outcome. The ministry directs readers to www.bresummit.in for event details.
