Digital Life Certificate campaign records nearly 40 lakh certificates in five days

The fifth nationwide Digital Life Certificate campaign generated nearly 40 lakh certificates in its first five days, the Union government reported on November 6. It cited about 25 lakh certificates in the same period of the previous year’s campaign.

At a briefing in New Delhi, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said the share using face authentication had risen from 61% to nearly 80% over the comparable period. The figures count certificates generated during the campaign’s opening days.
