Finance Ministry confirms UPI online bookings at UAE and Singapore attractions

Indian visitors can use UPI for online bookings at At the Top, Burj Khalifa in the UAE and Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore, the Finance Ministry said on October 30.

The arrangements involve NPCI International, NEOPAY and Emaar Entertainment in the UAE, and FOMO Pay in Singapore. The ministry dates the underlying partnership announcements to July 29 and September 9, 2026, respectively; this is a current availability announcement, not a claim that both partnerships were newly signed in October.

The scope is those online attraction bookings. It does not establish universal acceptance by every overseas merchant or a waiver of conversion charges.
